Spring Already?

I didn't realise its been so long since I updated this blog. I used to be so good while travelling and writing about every little experience that has caught my attention. Every cackle, every smirk, everything unordinary but this is now my life; I am settled, content and dying for adventure!
Time really flies when you get back to routine; we wake up, go to work, go home and cook dinner. Yes I did travel back to America but that is now 6 months ago. It has been 1 year since returning home from Canada; am I really destined to be living in New Zealand forever?

The winter has actually been really good in Wellington. I think on some days it got to about 5 degrees in the morning but slowly floated around 10 throughout the day. It was still cold but I do miss being covered in snow and having to wear snow shoes when going out to buy lunch.
I did manage to get 3 days up the mountain this season. The first day was with Antony and Rachel, we drove up Friday night after work and drank at a local bar till closing; it was a wild party! Too bad there was only 3 of us in the bar. The next day was perfect, fresh snow, clear skies and extra long queues;what more could you ask for?

A week later, I went up on another ski trip. It was with a different group of friends and we hired a Bach (also know as a cottage or cabin to people who don't speak English) with a spa because we can.
There's nothing more relaxing than sitting in a spa drinking beer after a long day snowboarding other than accelerating dehydration, causing dizziness, unconsciousness and "a tendency to make a person lose some of his inhibitions and partake in dangerous activities he may not do when sober. In or near a hot tub or even a pool, this can be very dangerous and lead to accidental death. It is best to avoid or closely monitor alcohol intake when enjoying a pool or hot tub."
Dangers of Hot Tub Drinking

Loads of BBQ's, work, more BBQ's, beard growing; yip I grew a beard. So long that it started itching and food was getting caught it in.
